Tottenham Hotspur Academy graduate George Marsh headed out for a spell at League Two over the summer as he made the loan switch to Leyton Orient.
Orient have had a pretty poor start to the 2019/20 campaign, as they sit in 18th place with only nine points from eight games so far. 20-year-old Marsh did make his debut for them at the beginning of September as they took a 2-0 victory over Southend United in the EFL Trophy, but last weekend, he got his first league appearance under his career belt and he didn’t hold back from midfield, picking up a yellow card for his efforts, in what became a 2-2 draw with Exeter City.
It’s fair to say he made a quick and speedy impact on Orient fans, as he picked up a debut Man of the Match gong following his performance.
🎵 He's here, he's there, he's everywhere! George Marsh!
🏆 It was a great introduction to league football for @SpursOfficial loanee George Marsh, as he was named Man of the Match with 42% of the vote. #LOFC #OnlyOneOrient pic.twitter.com/yBozLTIHqd

Having picked up 42% of the fan vote, he’s already quickly warmed to the hearts of many fans – now it’s just about him maintaining that sort of level and kicking on further.
Best player in a blue shirt by a mile. Absolutely everywhere.

And George Marsh was apparently excellent, I'd have never imagined that a youngster given a two year pro deal at Spurs just a couple of months ago was actually any good at football ????‍♂️ Why has Embleton not played him in the league at all before today? Criminal. #lofc

Kids take time to adapt to the pace/physicality of the lower league game. He did well today, but wasn’t incredible. It was a decent debut and he’s earned his place, now he’s got to keep it.
I’d like to see Clay come in for Gorman on Tuesday. #lofc

George Marsh, what a player #LOFC #OnlyOneOrient

George Marsh was superb yesterday considering he was carrying Wright and Gorman. Clay back in on Tuesday for either of those 2 would be the only change for me #lofc

Content with the point. Much better when we play without 5 at the back as we have a go at teams rather than invite pressure on ourselves. Up against the kosh for large parts of the game and defended really well. Marsh was superb, absolutely everywhere????????. Lots of positives. #lofc pic.twitter.com/H9LqkSQQQn

Can’t we just play with 11 Marsh’s? #lofc
