“He’s Here, He’s There, He’s Everywhere” – Spurs Talent Makes Immediate League Impact At Loan Club

|

Tottenham Hotspur Academy graduate George Marsh headed out for a spell at League Two over the summer as he made the loan switch to Leyton Orient.

Orient have had a pretty poor start to the 2019/20 campaign, as they sit in 18th place with only nine points from eight games so far. 20-year-old Marsh did make his debut for them at the beginning of September as they took a 2-0 victory over Southend United in the EFL Trophy, but last weekend, he got his first league appearance under his career belt and he didn’t hold back from midfield, picking up a yellow card for his efforts, in what became a 2-2 draw with Exeter City.

It’s fair to say he made a quick and speedy impact on Orient fans, as he picked up a debut Man of the Match gong following his performance.

Having picked up 42% of the fan vote, he’s already quickly warmed to the hearts of many fans – now it’s just about him maintaining that sort of level and kicking on further.
